Retreat on 8th and 9th December

St. Agnes Branch school, Teachers were privileged to participate in a retreat (inward journey of new horizon) on the 8th and 9th of December in the premises of St. Agnes School, Kharagpur.  It was an opportunity for the teachers to introspect and continue to progress in all their endeavours.  The Resource person for the retreatwere Sr.. Philomena and Miss Vinita.  The programme began with a heart warming welcome note by Sister Maria Monica.  As is the tradition, the lamp was lit by the sisters and representatives of both the schools.  The interactive sessions of both the days were aimed to felicitate the inward journey of our spiritual growth.  The main objectives  were (i) proving God the first priority (ii)seeking God in nature, persons and situations (iii) Developing positive relationship  (iv)  committing oneself to the mission of Education as a member of th eApostolic Carmel family with a clear vision.

At the end of the second day, The teachers representativees of both the schools thanked Sr. Philomena and Miss Vinita for the enriching session.  They also thanked Sr. maria Monica and Sr. Virginia for the initiative taken by them to bring both the schools together to attend the two days of reflection and introspection.  The retreat has certainly helped us to rebuild and revive our initial zest and fervour as teachers and as members of the society at large.
