ANNUAL SPORTS DAY 2022

One of the most popular events of the school calendar the Annual Sports Day was celebrated on after a hiatus of four years.  The entire school was buzzing with excitement as students in their house colours moved about with the determination of champions.  We were very fortunate and happy to have Sister Desiree from St. Agnes School, and Mr.  Jha , Security Officer, IIT as our guests and our very own Sr. Virginia, overseeing the events of the day.  As is the tradition , the day started with a march past by the students of Class V,followed by mass physical exercise by the four houses of  classes III , IV and V.  This year a new addition to the day's celebration were the drill routines presented by the Pre-Primary classes and the Junior Primary classes of I and II.  Over a very short time the students had practised for this event and presented themselves very smartly. After this the competitive events of  classes KG I to Class II were held before the tiffin break.  Events like potato Race, Bunny hop, Pick and Run Sweater and Muffler Race added to the joy and excitement of the day.  The Competition between the houses began in the second half of the day.  To loud cheer from their compatriots, the participants  gave their best to win points for their houses.  The highlight of the day was the relay race  between the Red, Blue, Green, and Yellow houses.  At  the end of the day, after the points were tallied, Red House was declared the winner.  Blue and Green House were jointly in  the second postion and Yellow House in the third position.  The entire day went off too quicklyand it seemed the students were eager for more.  The Annual Sports Day saw many winners and so called losers, but sports as a whole was the winner
